Trilj Viewpoint

Located at the top of the hill of Gardun above town of Trilj. The viewpoint is right next to a St. Peter church built in the 18th century on top of the older building from the Roman age. This viewpoint watches over the town of Trilj, Cetinsko Polje fields and Kamešnica mountain. From here you can actually see 5 mountains: Kamešnica to the East, Dinara to the North-East, Svilaja to the North, Mosor to the South-West and in the distance Biokovo mountain is also visible to the South. There is a beautiful forest trail starting from Cetina river bank(close to suspension bridge) up to the viewpoint which takes about 15-20 minutes. This viewpoint is also starting position for visitors to the remains of Tilurium, a Roman Legionary Camp.
